About Pilates

In your first session in the studio you will be given an assessment so that the instructor gets to know you and your body. Then we will spend our time doing exercises, fascial release or gravity techniques that address your specific needs. And finally, we will give you tools on how to move more efficiently throughout your day even when you are not in the studio.

 

In subsequent sessions, as you progress and as your body responds, we will deepen the skills of listening to your body and expand the tools so that you can move in increasingly more functional and healthy ways. As you get stronger, you will be given more physical challenges.  The possibilities are endless!
